Pick With Austin is supported 100% by both private and corporate donations, as well as by grants from other nonprofit organizations and by the government. As a nonprofit corporation, we strive to make every dollar or donated asset a valuable tool in the execution of our mission. Our partners, friends, and our sponsors are of great value in the achieving our goals and we wish to call special attention to each of them.
We are proud to announce that in March of 2011, Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (MHMR) has become a partner Pick With Austin in our shared efforts to help spread awareness of the dangers of teen depression and suicide.
Pick With Austin has also been very fortunate to begin receiving donations and support from some very large music industry giants. These include such names as Clayton USA (makers of the best guitar picks), as well as leading guitar and instrument manufacturers, Dean Guitars and Luna Guitars.
Pick With Austin's mission is to spread awareness of the dangers of depression while increasing suicide prevention efforts targeted at youth. To support this mission, Pick With Austin shall continue to seek sponsorship and donations from corporate and music-oriented businesses and entities. Pick With Austin, Inc., has filed 501(c)(3) status with the federal government and is currently operating under a certificate issued by the Secretary of State as a Nonprofit Corporation within the State of Texas.
